We use the 2008 Greater Philadelphia Regional Transit Map all the time.  Our 2004 version noted frequencies of different buses.  For this version, we created an accompanying web page that lets people view any combination of routes over google maps.  This helps people better understand the complexities of some routes.

This map has many benefits over SEPTA City Street and Transit Map (which we digitized in 2002). Here are some benefits of this map over SEPTA’s Official map:

  • This map has ever transit system, not just SEPTA
  • The font sizes are larger
  • It’s easier to follow a route
  • It’s about half the size of SEPTA’s Map
  • It has the City on one side and the region on the other
  • Our map is given away for free by several organizations
  • You can view it online as a pdf

Pick up a copy of this map at the Reading Terminal Market or from the map section at the Free Library, or order it here for $2 (covers processing and postage).
