Pennsylvania should have a new bicycle and pedestrian coordinator soon. And in some PennDOT districts there is a lot of support for the Bicycle PA Routes. I think the Pedalcycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is a good forum for this. And I also think that the new state-wide bicycle organization, PA Walks and Bikes, could play an important role. Representative Rick Geist has worked hard on bicycling issues in Pennsylvania through his work as Chairmain of the House Transportation Committee, and he is a valuable resource. He's also done a lot for promoting women's bicycle racing in Altoona, PA.

How do we get PA involved in getting their state routes designated? Ideas?
